The Tourism Department of the Ministry of Economy is heading to the Republic of Chinato hold a roadshow that will highlight the UAEs touristic destinations and attractions and help further boost inbound tourism to the Emirates. Taking place from March 27 to 28, 2017 in the major cities of Shanghai and Beijing, the event will be held under the theme Visit UAE and will mark the second consecutive edition of the tourism-dedicated promotional tour to China.
阿聯(lián)酋經(jīng)濟(jì)部下屬旅游局將前往中國(guó)舉辦路演活動(dòng)，宣傳展示阿聯(lián)酋旅游目的地及旅游景點(diǎn),，進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)中國(guó)游客前往阿聯(lián)酋旅游,。以探訪阿聯(lián)酋為主題，本次路演將于2017年3月27日至28日在上海和北京舉行,，這是阿聯(lián)酋在中國(guó)連續(xù)舉辦的第二屆旅游專題推介會(huì),。

The UAE delegation will be headed by H.E. Mohammed Khamis Al Muhairi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Advisor to the Minister for Tourism Affairs, along with representatives of tourism authorities and departments from the different emirates; carriers Emirates and Etihad; and diverse industry stakeholders including hotels, travel agents, and tourism companies.

Last year, the number of Chinese visitors to the UAE grew by 26 per cent to reach nearly 877,990. H.E. Al Muhairi said that thisroadshow will sustain this momentum and is the result of the Ministry of Economys efforts to cooperate with relevant bodies and departments to highlight the countrys diverse tourist destinations, attractions, and distinctive and innovative services to China and other major international markets.

The Undersecretary added that the UAEs wise and supportive leadership have been instrumental to the industrys rapid growth. He also noted that ongoing tourism-related infrastructural developments, continuous investments in innovative tourism facilities and services as well as the diversity of touristic options available will maintain the countrys strong international appeal as a tourist destination.

He further emphasized the importance of participating in and organizing events abroad to uplift the image of UAE tourism and share the special advantages and incentives offered by the sector to different countries. He added that such initiatives help secure a greater share of the global tourism and travel markets.

H.E. Al Muhairiaffirmed that China is a priority tourism market for the UAE and that the outlook for future tourism partnerships is bright given the strong relations between the countries which was given a major boost last year by the UAEs decision to allow Chinese citizens get their visas upon arrival.

Finally, H.E. mentionedthe importance of enhancing the UAEs visibility as a preferred destination within the Chinese market and raising awareness on the many and varied products and services it offers. He added that Tourism Authorities and departments in UAE are doubling their efforts to encourage Chinese to make longer and more frequent trips to the UAE, and expressed confidence that thisroadshow will translate to impressive inbound numbers.
